15 Things I'm Praying for in 2026
"2026 is not about perfection. It's about alignment. It's about showing up for myself with the same love, grace, and intention I so freely give to others."
Hey Love,
Happy New Year!
It is officially 2026, and I'm stepping into this year with a feeling of readiness that I haven’t had in a long time. It’s not anxious or performative. It’s the kind that has me settled in knowing that I'm exactly where I need to be, doing what I need to be doing, and that will meet me with grace.
See, 2025 taught me the power of surrender, the necessity of rest, and the beauty of trusting myself and God's timing when I couldn't see the full picture. I learned that growth doesn't always look like grinding and that it sometimes looks like softening, saying no, and choosing myself without guilt.
So as we move through 2026, I'm not restricting myself to rigid resolutions that leave little room for growth or error. I'm setting intentions that are invitations to my higher self. I'm praying bold prayers for peace, for purpose, for joy, and for abundance. And I’m courageously showing up fully in my life, in my work, in my relationships, and in myself.
And y’all, it feels so damn good.
With that, I’m sharing my list of 15 things I’m praying for in 2026 (keep me accountable, friends). May these prayers meet me where I am and be the springboard needed to propel me into my next chapter.
Peace that never leaves my side. May peace sit in my bones this year. May it anchor me. May it live in my home. In my schedule. In my interactions. And in my spirit.
A deeper relationship with myself. May I choose myself gently, consistently, and without guilt. May I be reminded that softness is my birthright. And that I rest is required, not a reward.
Clarity in my purpose. May all the noise, the doubt, and the second-guessing be silenced. May my inner voice be calm, wise, and aligned. And may I be guided toward what’s for me and away from what isn’t.
Protection, joy, and guidance for my daughter. May she be covered in sweetness, safety, and confidence. May our relationship deepen with happiness, joy, and laughter. May I mother her with presence, protection, and passion. May my actions remind her that she is my priority, my joy, and my greatest gift. And may our home be a sanctuary that beautifully shapes her.
Love that grows deeper, stronger, and softer. May the relationship with my lover be strengthened. May the capacity to understand one another be expanded. May our communication and intimacy—emotional, spiritual, and physical—be deepened. May our love be a place of safety, honesty, and joy. And may we choose one another each day with intention and care.
Community that feels like home. May the people I’m surrounded by pour into me the same way I pour into them. May I have friendships rooted in truth, accountability, and softness. May I feel supported, not stretched. And may my circle be aligned and not crowded for the sake of saying I have one.
Courage to release what’s no longer mine to carry. May I release fears, habits, and identities that limit me. May I have the strength to let go without guilt. And may I trust that every ending is making way for another beautiful beginning.
Joy that shows up unexpectedly. May joy be the kind that sneaks up on me. May laughter be abundant. May gratitude be natural. And may it come just because, without needing a reason.
Unshakable faith. May I continue to trust the process, even when I can’t always see the full picture. May I walk with grace, confidence, and belief in the woman I’m meant to be. And may I stop doubting my growth and start honoring it.
Financial abundance and wisdom. May I save more intentionally, spend wiser, and trust that I have more than enough. May my business goals be achieved with purpose. And may I steward my resources in ways that honor both my present needs and future dreams.
A body that feels like home. May I reach my health and wellness and fitness goals. May movement feel like joy instead of obligation. May I nourish my temple with intention and grace. May this fitness journey be unlike any others before. May this journey deepen the relationship with my body. And may I celebrate every step of my progress.
Adventures that fuel me. May doors open for travel, spontaneity, and exploration. May I dance freely, unapologetically, and gleefully. May I have experiences that remind me that I’m still alive. And may adventure be a lifestyle, and not reserved for someday, one day, or eventually.
Creative milestones that reflect my growth. May this be the year I publish my book. May my soon-to-be released affirmation deck and journal reach the hands and hearts that it’s intended for. May I have the courage to promote my work boldly. May my visibility be natural. May I remember that my voice matters and my work has value. And may I be reminded that sharing my gifts is an act of service.
Self-care that isn’t negotiable. May I finish my yoga teacher training with pride and presence. May I invest in hobbies without the need to monetize them. May my self-care not be limited to bubble baths, massages, and mani pedis. And I remember that self-care is a necessity, not a luxury.
The discipline to capture moments. May I stop waiting until I reach my weightloss goals and take more pictures. May I document the growth, the joy, the freedom, and the beauty of this season. And may I be reminded that these moments matter and are worth preserving.
May each of these prayers serve as both my roadmap and my refuge. May they guide me, ground me, and remind me that I’m not walking through this year alone. May these declarations over my goals be rooted in alignment and intention to show up for myself, and move with the same peace, love, and grace that I freely extend to others. And may I move through this year open and ready for whatever God is preparing for me.
Here’s to a year of answered prayers, goals accomplished, and a life that feels as beautiful on the inside as it looks on the outside.
With Love,
Racquel
